Computer Horizons Corp.We initially employed Brian Freedley full time for a myriad of tasks demanding skill, dependability, and honesty. After 10 years I can honestly say we have never made a better decision for the long-term care of our technology environment. Our international, publicly held corporation was in the business of technology staffing and project-based solution services, before selling all of our divisions at the behest of our shareholders. When we initiated disbanding, we put Brian Freedley in charge of consolidating IT systems in the United States, Canada, and India through our New Jersey headquarters. It was at this time that he decided to go into business for himself, creating Paratus Technologies and subsequently hiring and training his team of IT professionals. He continued to personally fulfill our requirements, while also satisfying the needs of other businesses that sought the advantage of his proficiency and constancy. We recommended him and his company with confidence then, and continue to do so today. In short, as our Migration Project Manager, he managed all remaining IT employees, implemented disaster recovery procedures, administered Sarbanes Oxley and SAS70 audit compliance, and was entrusted with consolidating our financials. We fondly referred to him as “the last man standing” when it came to relocating our IT department and all remaining systems offsite. Paratus was the sole provider of our IT solutions, support, and monitoring until our dissolution was finalized.

Hickory Hill Heath and HeatherWe own a small plant nursery in southeast Pennsylvania. We know more about heath and heathers than we do about megabytes and gigabytes. We use one computer for all of our product information, pictures, and e-mail. That computer crashed at a time when a local friend, our tech support, was not available. Our cousin lives out in New Jersey, and told us about Brian Freedley and Paratus Technologies. We were amazed when they said he could help from so far away. Well, to make a long story short, he was able to get our computer up and running and was able backup all our important data, the same day that we contacted him. All this while he was sitting in his office and walking us through what to do. I think the things that we were most impressed with were his patience, understanding, but most importantly his ability to get us back up and running.
Sincerely, www.hickoryhillheathandheather.com

Vision EquitiesVision Equities is a commercial real estate investment, development, and operating company specializing in office, industrial, flex and mixed-use properties. Our company was only a year old and working out of a small office in NJ when we purchased an office portfolio in northern NJ and decided to occupy one of the buildings and completely redevelop the interior and exterior. At the time we had 4 employees with 4 laptops. In the process of moving in we met Brian Freedley as he formerly worked as the IT consultant for the previous tenant of the entire building. The previous tenant had vacated the building due to a liquidation process and left hardware and equipment behind.
The new space and move prompted a new start and the need to properly build an IT infrastructure and platform for the near term, yet one built for the future growth of our company. In light of being a new company and facing the economic trials of an up-start, we posed a challenge to Brian and his company, Paratus Technologies: build our platform by using as much of the previous infrastructure as possible. We hired Paratus to spearhead the conversion. Brian effectively and efficiently used the existing materials with new equipment to complete the set up our office, from the phone system to computers, server, scanner, and printers. We now have a full working office with 8 employees all integrated to a central server and phone system. In addition, we have enhanced technology for presentation purposes in our conference room (full audio and visual). Paratus Technologies is now contracted to service our office on a monthly schedule and on an as-needed basis for any and all IT related issues.
